The challenge

Five countries. Eight domains. One generic inbox.

Every technical enquiry — an LNG tanker stuck in Split, a hotel generator failing in Dubrovnik, a yacht lighting fault in Monaco — landed in the same inbox, to be manually triaged by a dispatcher reading every message in a mixed stream of English, Italian and Croatian. Emergencies queued behind standard service requests. Response times drifted.

Manual triage, mixed languages

Every enquiry passed through a human dispatcher reading free text in EN/IT/HR before routing. Emergencies sometimes queued behind standard requests for 2+ hours.

Sector-specific skill routing

A marine electronics issue needs a different engineer than a hospitality networking issue. Mis-routing meant second-dispatches, delayed response, unhappy clients.

No proximity-aware dispatch

Engineers allocated geographically but not surfaced at enquiry intake — so the closest available tech wasn't always the one who got the job.
